06 Sep “Weaving a New Future for Egypt’s RMG Sector”
We are thrilled to share the successful running of Checkpoint for Ready Made Clothes (CRMC) groundbreaking dual education project in the RMG Sector in Egypt. It’s been an incredible journey of hard work, dedication, and collaboration. The dual education program has empowered young minds with valuable skills, while the nursery centre has nurtured the next generation of talent! Over 300 trainees were successfully trained and got jobs through this project.
RMG Training Program
CRMC was a collaboration with the Regional Unit for Education and Training (RUET), aimed at revolutionizing Egypt’s Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry. Over two years, this venture will establish a nationally accredited dual education framework, offering training in machine technician, quality controller, cutter, and sewing operator roles. Among the 300 participants, 150 will join CRMC directly, while others will find placements across the industry. Additionally, CRMC supports inclusivity with a nursery centre to support single mothers, ensuring a brighter future for both workers and their children.
