Under the framework of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the project will raise awareness through capacity building, knowledge transfer, but also practical implementations and the Hong Kong Interfilière trade fair.

In November, suPPPort ltd. and Eurovet visited lingerie and textile factories in Indonesia. As part of their partnership, they will assist pre-selected manufacturers of the textile and lingerie industry, such as PT KEWALRAMINDONESIA, WSKWINNER SUMBIRI KNITTING FACTORY, PT BUSANAREMAJA AGRACIPTA and PT SINA PARA TARUNA.

Aim of this project is to in enhance their impact on the environment by introducing systematic solid waste and chemical management, to improve their sustainability strategies and reach international standards, but also to incorporate safety and health training for their workers. All four manufacturers will participate at the annual Interfilière in Hong Kong to demonstrate innovative circular economy solutions, which will then support them in strengthening their international competitiveness. The Interfilière fair is a curated event, gathering the premium businesses for intimates, swimwear and athleisure with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and performance in the hub of Asia.

Through this project a cooperation between the Indonesian Textile Association called Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia, API, has been established, aiming to connect apparel manufacturers and stakeholders.
