We are glad to present the ENOCK Coffee Project, a heartwarming initiative to transform the lives of 1,000 local farmers in Ethiopia! This groundbreaking project will take 3 years, where suPPPort arranged a grant of almost €200,000 to make this vision a reality. With this support, Enock can make this vision a reality and empower farmers for a brighter future!
Through this project, Enock PLC is committed to providing skill development training to these farmers, teaching them the art of cultivating coffee using organic and sustainable practices. By imparting knowledge on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Harvesting Practices (GHP), and best farming techniques, Enock aims to boost their income and uplift their livelihoods. Collaborating with Farm Africa (FA) and The Cup of Excellence (CoE), Enock will develop a comprehensive curriculum to ensure the farmers receive top-notch training and guidance. But that is not all! Enock is also building a state-of-the-art washing and drying station for the local cooperative and its daughter cooperatives in the Bale Forest region. This facility will enhance the quality of coffee production and serve as a learning hub for farmers to continuously improve their skills.

By engaging in contract farming agreements, Enock PLC guarantees a 100% purchase certainty, offering farmers a higher purchasing price than the market average.
The positive impact of this project goes beyond the 1,000 farmers involved, where 50% are women. As they flourish with newfound knowledge, they can train additional farmers, creating a chain of skilled labour that benefits Ethiopia’s coffee industry in the long run.
